The Atrium — Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 27, 2026 · Publisher: mNemo Automation LLC, Omaha, Nebraska, USA · Contact: privacy@mnemoautomation.com

The Atrium is a companion app for homes managed by mNemo Automation. It is built on a simple principle: your home's live data stays between your devices and your own home server. The one exception is your sign-in, which this policy describes plainly below.

The short version

What we collect (through the mNemo sign-in service)

When you sign in, the app sends to mNemo's gateway service over an encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connection:

Your password is used only to authenticate you and is never stored in readable form by the app. We do not sell or share any of this with third parties. We use it only to operate your account and the assistant.

What stays on your own devices and your own server

The following never reaches mNemo:

Emergency / SOS

The press-and-hold SOS control places a phone call (e.g., 911) through your device's own dialer and asks your own home server to notify the emergency contacts you've configured. No information is sent to mNemo. SOS is not a monitored medical-alert or guaranteed 911 service and depends on your network and power.

Data retention and deletion

Children

The app is intended for adults (18+) managing a household. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account data at any time using the in-app deletion or by contacting privacy@mnemoautomation.com. All of your home's live data already lives on hardware you control.
